Industry bigwigs comment on Iwata's GDC keynote - Pachter says Nintendo is doomed, Zynga expected better
“Long-term, Nintendo is doomed. He’s (Iwata) under full frontal assault by Apple.” - Michael Pachter
“I expected better from Nintendo. They are missing the point of what we are doing. We are making games that everyone can play and socialize on while playing.” - Zynga’s Chief Game Designer Brian Reynolds
As you can tell, there were a few people that weren’t too happy with what Iwata had to say about social and mobile gaming. I’m thinking Pachter’s statement is just a tad over the top.
