GN Version 3.1

On Rayman 3D: “…really loveless port. Frame rate is all over the shop and the 3D is the weakest I’ve seen. Pushing the depth slider seems to shunt the entire game into the background, so it just feels like playing a 2D game, slightly further away.”

On Asphalt 3D: “Not quite that bad, but massively shonky. The frame rate is so bad, in fact, that at times the on-screen stopwatch doesn’t appear to be running properly. Yes, the game can’t even keep a clock running to decent time. …Believe me when I say Asphalt is all kinds of wrong. As I stated elsewhere, its frame rate is so shaky, even the on screen timer stutters. Not sure what game our ONM chums played, but our copy was rancid.”

On Super Monkey Ball 3D: “Yes. Way too easy. Levels seem to be based around fiddliness rather than threat - the ticking timer is more of a concern than staying alive.”

Thanks to James for the heads up!
