The Troubled Past and Challenging Future of Nintendo 3DS

We all know that Nintendo has dabbled with 3D technology many times in the past. Their most famous attempt at 3D gaming was the Virtual Boy, and we all know how well that worked out. Even with that massive failure, Nintendo has kept a long-standing love with 3D. Some might even call it an obsession. Now the 3DS is out and it actually does provide 3D without glasses, but is this platform still too similar to the Virtual Boy in some ways to bring about long-term success?
