Double good news for Aussie DS owners
Hey Australia, how would you like some new DS wifi hotspots? Okay, would 1,000 brand new hotspots do the trick?! Nintendo is working with Telstra Wireless to bring 1,000 new hotspots to DS owners. These hotspots are active already, and a list of all the locations can be found HERE.
Good thing these hotspots popped up, seeing that the DS just passed the 500,000 units sold mark in the land down under. For comparison, the Xbox 360 sold 157,000 units in its first year. The DS has been on the market in Australia for two years.
