George Leutz's Q*bert world record attempt ends abruptly due to machine reset

How would you like to be a couple days into a world record attempt on Q*bert, only to have the machine reset on you? Even worse, the reset happened because the son of the arcade owner was fiddling with a plug for an adjacent arcade game. Leutz wanted to know if the machine next to him could be turned off due to the noise bothering him.
