Got to spend some time with the retail version of Dead or Alive: Dimensions today, and I’m quiet impressed. I’m not really a big fighting fan, but I can appreciate hard work and quality no matter what the title. So far, it seems like there’s plenty to enjoy here. I’ll let you know more as I play on! For now, it’s off to bed. See you in a few, short hours.

Let’s play pretend, shall we? Let’s all go to a place in our minds where Activision treats Nintendo fans with the same respect that they give Sony and Microsoft followers. I’m specifically talking about the handling of the Call of Duty franchise over the last few years. As many of you know, Activision keeps things very quiet when it comes to yearly Call of Duty installments on Nintendo platforms. Just because a new Call of Duty is coming out doesn’t mean that Nintendo fans will see it on their platforms of choice.

It’s happened time and time again, and now Activision is keeping us in the dark yet another time. With the case of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, we have no official word on release for Wii, DS or 3DS. There have been retail hints that indicate that the title will land on Wii and DS, but everyone developing/publishing the game is keeping their lips sealed. What’s the purpose of this treatment? What’s the point in keeping quiet on a confirmation? I have no idea, but I guess that’s why I don’t make the billions that Activision does.

So yes, let us play pretend. We’re going to live in a world where Activision comes to Nintendo fans to see what they would like from the Call of Duty side of things. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is an option for Wii, DS and 3DS, and it’s up to you guys to voice your opinion as to what platforms you want the game to hit.

Would you like to see Modern Warfare 3 grace the Wii? It could very well be the last Call of Duty game we see on the platform, so a send-off like that could be quite nice. The same goes for the DS, and we know that n-Space can do quite a great job adapting the Call of Duty series to portables. Of course, I think we’d all be curious to see what Activision’s devs can do with Call of Duty on the 3DS, so I’d have to vote for that choice.

Leave a comment and let us know where your interest is. Do you want Call of Duty on Nintendo platforms, or do you just get that fix on other platforms?
