We Dare facing possible rating change down under

GN Version 3.1

I could have made that headline much more sinister. Instead, you’ll get the PG version, which is apparently not a virile enough rating for Australian Prime Minister for Home Affairs, Brendan O’Connor, who is looking to put a stiffer rating on it after hearing more about Ubisoft’s adult party game from people like RMC and me.

We didn’t even get the game here in the States. Guess I’ll just have to read more innuendo into the one or two other party games we have on the Wii.

I asked the Classification Board to review We Dare following media reports that the game’s PG rating may be inappropriate. I believe that this game is unsuitable for children and I look forward to the outcome of the Classification Board’s review of its PG rating. I share the concern of many parents that children may be inadvertently playing games that are more suited to adult gamers.
