News from our friends at Vooks:

Nintendo has just sent word that the Wii has now officially broken through the 100,000 install-base mark in Australia, claiming the new title of fastest selling home console to reach 100,000. “We are pleased that Wii has achieved this benchmark, but we are ecstatic that it attained this whilst also reaching new audiences and expanding the scope of our entire industry” explains Rose Lappin, Director of Sales and Marketing. “We promised we would bring gaming to the masses, I think this is proof that we are heading in the right direction”.

The Press Release also says that Super Paper Mario and Pangya Swing Golf will be heading down under in September.
