“The much-anticipated June release of the new Nintendo DS Lite system is drawing near, and we wanted to share some great news! Over the next few days, you will see a listing for it in your POS and will be able to take pre-orders. Yes, everyone may take a moment to stand up and cheer before continuing to read on. All right, now here’s the catch: a retail price must be added into the system in order for you to be able to take pre-orders, however Nintendo has not announced a price point yet for this system. While we have assigned a place holder value of $199.99 to the DS Lite, please do not quote this price to our guests, as it is not real. Nintendo will release an official announcement over the next couple weeks containing information such as the release date and the price, and your systems will be updated to reflect that information immediately thereafter.
As with all hardware, a deposit of $50 is required in order to pre-order a DS Lite system. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please contact your District Manager with any questions.”
No scan of the actual document, but it is said to have been sent to Game Crazy outlets this morning. Without a scan, I have to keep this rumor for now.
