Metroid Dread hinted at in Metroid Prime 3: Corruption?
If you don’t like the scanning portions of Metroid Prime, you might have a good reason to do it this time around. Somewhere in the second half of the game there will be a control panel to scan. It’s not necessary to complete the game, but it does contain an interesting message.
“Experiment status report update. Metroid project ‘Dread’ is nearing the final stages of completion.”
I’d say that’s definitely related to the Dread we’ve been hearing about for years now. Perhaps Retro is involved with the project. Thanks to Jeremy for the heads up!
