Nintendo going after Korean websites
Nintendo of Korea is aggressively hunting down various bootlegging websites and proceeding with legal action. Nintendo is trying to stamp out the illegal software duplication that is running rampant in Korea.
“They (the sites) infringed on our copyright by posting Nintendo’s game titles through the Internet without our permission. The legal action was taken against only some sites and users this time but we will take further measures if such a violation continues to take place.” - Nintendo of Korea rep
Nintendo is ready for the long fight. They’ve been fighting piracy for a long time, and they aren’t backing down anytime soon.
