Japan - 20 million DS' sold
Nintendo has reached another milestone with the DS. 20 million units of the system have been sold in Japan alone. The unit breakdown shows that 6,449,206 original DS units were sold, compared to 13,602,806 DS Lites. Nintendo has done in 156 weeks what took the PS2 349 weeks.
