NiGHTS initial Japanese shipment is a timid one
I’ve been completely baffled by the Japanese public when it comes to Wii software. I don’t have any idea how to base sales predictions anymore. I think some developers/publishers may be thinking the same way.
SEGA will be launching NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams this week (Dec. 13th) in Japan. Early reports state that SEGA has supplied around 90,000 units to retailers in total. You would think that this is a small amount of games, but one never knows how much a Wii title will ship. Hopefully the title is a hit for SEGA, seeing that Sonic isn’t really too hot in Japan.
