Nintendo currently producing 1.8 million Wiis a month
During a press conference in Tokyo, Senior Managing Director Jinyou Mori announced that Nintendo currently produces 1.8 million Wiis a month. This is the planned amount that they will produce from now until the end of the fiscal year, which falls on March 31st, 2008. Raising the production rate is possible, and this is something that Nintendo is discussing right now. Mr. Mori would not mention how many more units a possible increase would bring.
