When will North America get Mario Kart Wii?

Japan will be getting Mario Kart Wii on April 10th, Europe on April 11th. The question is, when will the game hit North America? We have heard a number of reports for multiple sources…all of them with different answers. Reader Mex12 sent in a bit of info from GameFly. They have the game listed for April 27th, which is a plausible date. That would be a Sunday, and as we all know, Brawl is shipping on a Sunday as well. For North America to get Brawl this month, and Mario Kart Wii in April would be great. It seems a bit unfair though when you look at it from a European perspective. Does the fair/unfair argument play a part in Nintendo’s global planning!?
