Smash Bros. and Competitive Elitism

There have been Brawl games going on at the warehouse all day long. I’ve been working away for the most part, but I did indeed slip in a couple games. The crew couldn’t be happier to have some hands-on time with Brawl, and we also can’t help but trash talk. It’s not mean-spirited in any way. We do it to annoy each other…knowingly annoy each other. No one gets mad, or even a little upset for that matter. We do it to make each other laugh.

I would never dream of trash-talking anyone in real life. That goes for Smash Bros., any other game, or just anything in general. That kind of stuff makes my stomach turn. I can’t stand people that showboat like that. Unfortunately, there is a part of the Smash community that trash-talks almost as much as they play.
