Pirates/hackers win - FFCC: Ring of Fates copy protection thwarted

Well, it was a victory for Square-Enix…but a short-lived one at that. Square-Enix worked out a way to block software pirates from playing FFCC: Ring of Fates. They had included software detection that would kill a bootleg copy of the game after 10 minutes of playing. While it was a step in the right direction, Square-Enix will have to work harder next time. Hackers have found a way to bypass the protection, and they now have the full pirated game to play. I will not be providing a link to this information, as it shows you how to bypass the protection. Thanks to Brad for the heads up.
