Miyamoto did a bunch of interviews yesterday and today, so tons of information is flying in. Most of Miyamoto’s talk is focused on Wii Fit, but there are some other interesting bits that pop up. I’ve posted a few notes from Miyamoto’s GameInformer interview…

- The Wii Fit board for North America and Japan are not different. The reason the weight limit is 300 in Japan and 330 in NA is due to Japan’s law of weights in measures, which uses 300 pounds as the standard for household scales. The board can without a weight of 660 pounds.

- Nintendo is working on a diet program for the DS

- Miyamoto confirmed that a number of developers are working on Balance-Board compatible projects

- Miyamoto once again states that he is open to making staple franchise entries (Mario) that use the balance board, but aren’t the main input method. That way, anyone could still play with the Wiimote/Nunchuk
