For those concerned about Wii’s ability to offer brutal, soulless acts of violence, it’s exciting news to hear that Mortal Kombat: Armageddon is heading to the tiny console sometime during the first quarter of 2007. Publisher Midway made the announcement today (okay, technically tomorrow, but we got it early and exclusively for being so “kombative”)

Glad to see Midway bringing more and more titles to the Wii. The Mortal Kombat franchise is big once again, with a recent string of successful games. We missed out on the great Shaolin Monks for the Cube, but we will get to enjoy the next main entry in the long running fighting series. Thanks to aLex378 for the find!
