Design Lesson 101 - Boom Blox
Boom Blox offers an absurd amount of fun. It’s one of those games that can suck you in for hours. It may not look so addictive at first glance, but once you get that Wiimote in your hand, you’ll be hard-pressed to put it down. Such simple ideas are at work, but the mechanics and goals are so easy to grasp, yet so hard to master…it makes for a delicious gaming cocktail. No doubt, Mr. Spielberg and EA have worked wonders with Boom Blox.
