RUMOR - Michael Bay bringing Metroid to the big screen

I am going to be honest with you guys. I had no intentions of posting this rumor, because I see it being nothing but that…100% fake. So many of you are emailing me about this that it started to sway me towards posting. I look back on the last Metroid movie rumor, which of course turned out to be fake as well. Still, a lot of you were upset that I never even gave the thing a mention. I am looking to avoid that situation by posting this new Metroid movie rumor!

Michael Bay, master of explosions, is rumored to be the man behind Metroid’s big-screen debut. Why did Bay’s name pop up? I honestly have no idea…there’s really nothing linking him back to Metroid. He has a body of work that leads him all the way into 2010, which you can check out on IMDB. I just think that people really want a Metroid movie, so they are looking to get the creative juices flowing, for Bay…or anyone at all.

I will state that I think this is totally bogus, but I’ll be delightfully surprised if any truth to this pops up.
