Even developers have no idea when their WiiWare titles will hit

Isn’t it annoying not knowing what WiiWare titles are going to drop on Monday morning? I mean, wouldn’t it be nice to have a press release hit one week before that told us what to expect the following Monday? Well, our complaints are nothing compared to those of developers.

It’s annoying not knowing what games are coming, but it’s a royal pain in the ass being a developer. Getting a game certified for WiiWare is a snap. Finding out when your game will release is practically impossible. Some WiiWare devs have no idea when their titles will be released. There have been instances where a dev didn’t find out about a release until the very day it hits the Wii Shop Channel. Now…that’s just a bit ridiculous.
