Fifa 09 to copy PES 2008 control schemes, and add in a few more

Did you like the way that Pro Evo 2008 played on the Wii? Well, it looks like EA did as well. EA has released some information on the control schemes in the upcoming Fifa 2009, and they are tearing a page right out of the Pro Evo 2008 instruction booklet. Not only with Fifa 2009 mimic Pro Evo 2008’s control scheme, EA will offer other control modes, one including a mechanic where the ball is passed automatically.

We can also look forwards to a ‘Footii’ mode, which puts 8 players on each side, all in Mii-form, for some arcade action. There are more details about the next Fifa title, but they may/may not relate to the Wii version. You can check out that information here.
