RUMOR - LucasArts employees forced out
Yes, it is a sad situation if true…and I am a jerk for using a bad Star Wars pun. Let’s hope, for the employees’ sake, this news is bogus. Rumor has it that somewhere between 50-100 LucasArts employees have been let go, but no reasons were given. That must be a pretty nice present for those that toiled away on Lego Indiana Jones. Congrats, you finished a cooperative, large-scale product…now pack your stuff and go.
Since the posting of the original story, multiple ex-LucasArts staffers are confirming the rumor. Of course, nothing is official until a LucasArts statement is released.
