Matt Casamassina's Nintendo invite
This was one of the first things I mentioned during last night’s live “Wii Prove Our Promise” updates, but it seems that many people missed it…based on the emails I have received. I will post it as it’s own news story now, instead of mixed in with the original LGC live updates
IGN’s Matt Casamassina has received a special invite from Nintendo for an event that is taking play on Septemeber 14th. Much of the invite is blurred, but you can have a look at it below. Click the thumb to enlarge.
The obvious speculation here is that this event will be focused on the price point/release date of the Wii. We know that Nintendo said they would announce this information in September, and now this event seems all too fitting. I also received the same invite as well, and will be attending the event. Hopefully I will be able to live blog there!
