Why Do Game Developers Think We Are Monkeys?

There are a lot of people that feel that game controllers have too many buttons. It’s a big part of why the Wii is so successful. Take away buttons, put in simple motions, and you bring in a new crowd. The writer of this article seems to think that we shouldn’t be ‘dumbing down’ game console inputs. If gamers on the PC can handle a keyboard as input, then why can’t console users handle a few buttons?
