Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars - preview

Now that I’ve had some hands-on time with Mushroom Men: The Spore Wars, I can honestly say that I’m even more excited. I need some sit-down time with the game to see just what irks me and what doesn’t, but my last bit of playtime with the game left me very impressed. The environments are rich, beautifully detailed, and a lot of fun to run around in. The enemy design is inventive and fresh. The controls worked well, but the camera may cause some issues. I’m hoping that the final game has a camera that does a better job, but as I said…perhaps I just need more time mastering the controls. Even with that quibble, Mushroom Men is towards the top of my most-wanted list.
