What's up with the Cube version of Twilight Princess?

Well first off, we know that in the US the Cube version of TP will be hitting the streets on December 11th. It appears things might be a little bit different in Europe. I read this story last night on IGN, but held back from posting in the hopes that things would be clarified. No new developments yet, so I will give you the IGN paragraph in question.

Previously, Nintendo had asserted that both versions of the game would be in stores simultaneously. It isn’t clear whether the GameCube version of the game required more development time or whether this was a deliberate move on Nintendo’s part to position Twilight Princess as the Wii’s premier launch title. Currently, the GameCube version of the game is only scheduled to be released in North America.

The funny thing is, on the right hand side of IGN’s page, you can see a date of November 24th for TP on Cube. I am not sure what is going on with this…I will email our rep once again and see if she can give any insight on what is going on with the European release/
