Wii preorders going like crazy at Play.com
Play.com (UK) is celebrating their biggest/quickest reserved item in their site’s history, and they have the Wii to thank. In just nine days, Play.com has received over 7000 preorders. Why is the Wii selling so quickly? Some say price point, some say Nintendo’s name alone, but The Guardian newspaper simply says that “The Nintendo Wii is not like other games consoles,”. I couldn’t agree more. Let’s hope for another great preorder showing when GameStop/EB Games finalizes a date. Thanks to Sidepocket for the heads up!
