Motiva suing Nintendo over motion control, spouts cheesy line
“Using someone else’s technology without permission is theft. Nintendo makes video games where you get to play a thief, but that doesn’t give them the right to be one.” - The Lanier Law Firm, representing Motiva
Man, how cheesy of a line is that?! Either way, Nintendo is being sued by Motiva over, citing illegal use of their motion sensing patent. The Wiimote is under fire for this one. A bit more from the lawsuit is below.
“involves technology used to create a ‘Human Movement Measurement System’ comprising a hand-held tracking device in communication with a base station that can be used to create an interactive gaming experience, among other capabilities.”
