Japan - upcoming Pokemon Platinum events

I am an idiot when it comes to Pokemon, but the gang at Serebii.net knows their stuff. They sent this email my way, and I pass on the knowledge to you.

From December 1st 2008 to January 15th 2009, you will be able to get the Member’s Card over Mystery Gift over Wi-Fi Connection. This allows for you to go to the island where Darkrai inhabits. From January 16th 2009 to March 2nd 2009, you will have a second chance at downloading the Secret Key item over Wi-Fi. As a reminder, this gives you access to a room in a building to change the Pokémon Rotom into a variety of forms

I know what most of you are thinking. That’s great for Japan…but when will North America get the game!?
