What Game Developers Do When Their Games Launch

For months and months, we wait for AAA titles to be released. It seemed like it took forever for Twilight Princess to finally make it to market, but when it did…what a glorious day. The same goes for Zack and Wiki, Contra IV, and other big-name games. As consumers, we do all the waiting. The developers are hard at work creating the objects of our affection. With that said, what do the developers do when launch day finally hits?

“I usually have a tonkatsu (deep-fried breaded pork cutlet) lunch or dinner. The word ‘katsu’ means to win in Japanese. So sometimes in Japan when you want to gain some extra luck, people will have tonkatsu.” - Keiichi Yano (Lips, Elite Beat Agents, Gitaroo Man)
