Online retail to trump in-store sales this holiday
The internet keeps giving us more and more reasons to never leave our house. Case-in-point…why brave the crowded stores this holiday season when you can do all your shopping from home? Retailers have been working for years to turn their online shops into 1:1 representations of the real stores. It looks like they’ve done quite a good job, because over 88% of people surveyed said that they plan to buy at least one gift online. It’s news like this that has retailers worried that their brick-and-mortar stores will see low business.
