The GameStop/EB Games Wii preorder fiasco

It appears that it is a different situation all around the US when it comes to just what EB Games/GameStop are doing with Wii reserves. Some stores are taking Wii reserves already, some aren’t taking any yet and don’t know when they will, and others are saying this Friday. That is just a handful of the rumors going around for now.

Reader Crosswayboy emailed me to let me know that he had just signed up at EB Games where he lives to preorder a Wii. As most of you know, PS3 reserves started today as well. This particular store had a sign-in sheet for PS3/Wii reserves. Nice to see a lot of PSWii reserves going on. Hell, a few people showed up on PS3 reservation day just to reserve a Wii!
