What happened to the Cave Story DS port?

Ravenworks was putting together an unofficial homebrew release of Cave Story on the DS. It doesn’t look like that project will ever see the light of day, thanks to the upcoming WiiWare release of Cave Story. By the way…hey Nicalis, when is that coming out?!
