Square-Enix president Yoichi Wada is a very happy man. It looks like his business managed to do very well in 2008. While we all hit some rough economical times to deal with, they didn’t really impact Square-Enix’s holiday sales. According to Mr. Wada, sales totals for 2008 pretty much fell in-line with their earlier forecasts. Sales may fall just short of what Square-Enix expected, but it’ll be close enough that the company is okay. Mr. Wada also said that the economic issues didn’t cause much trouble for Square-Enix, but they may make a dent in the new year.
