The NES' steady journey to the trash heap
Do you know anyone that owns an NES that is in working order? I happen to have a few NES consoles that actually work, but I don’t know that I could qualify them as ‘working order’. They play some games from time to time, but I think I spend more time blowing into cartridges and restarting frozen games than I do enjoying the titles I own. Malfunctioning NES systems is just part of the great history of classic gaming. I’d be scared if I had an NES that was in tip-top shape! Having a worn-down NES means that you got a lot of enjoyment from it back in the day!
