Rockin' that DLC thang
So…how do you guys feel about the whole DLC idea? I think in some instances, it’s a fantastic step forward. For instance, I think Harmonix is doing a great thing by finally bringing DLC to Rock Band II on the Wii. They can extend the life of the product, offer new songs to customers, and hopefully stave off franchise exhaustion for awhile. In other instances, I think we are getting ‘nickel and dimed’ by publishers. 1,500 points for a game, 500 points for a new level, 200 points for costumes…where does it end?
