I hate headaches…and I have a tiny one right now. I know it’s working itself into a full rager, so I’m going to head to bed in the hopes of squashing it by the time I get up. I’ll see you guys in just a few, short hours. Middle of the week, gang…we are halfway to the weekend!

P.S. - Just incase you didn’t see our post…there are new DSi colors hitting Japan!

Whenever Wednesday rolls around, I think of two things. First off, Bethany comes around in the evening to allow me a night off. Second, Wednesday is the day I get to go out to the mall and do my game shopping! Usually I have my list already written, and most of the games I wanted have been preordered. This week there is one game that I just haven’t made up my mind over. That game would be Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.

When I originally heard that the game was going to receive a Wii port, I was pretty ecstatic. I pictured how well the idea could work, fully understanding that there would have to be some elements that would need scaling back. As the weeks and months went by, I saw more and more reasons to not be excited about the game. Just a couple weeks back we saw some videos that showcased some very sloppy work…at least, that’s what it looked like to me.

Now IGN rolls in with their review, and while it’s not a bad score, it’s not exactly one that has me chomping at the bit to make a purchase. We’ve see a couple other reviews that fall right in the same scoring area. The thing that bothers me is, we aren’t just talking about graphical downgrades. The gameplay has been overhauled in some major ways, and it looks like those elements tweaked and taken away have hurt the overall experience. To see the 360 version get high marks and the Wii one receive considerably lower ones…it’s left me not knowing what to do. That’s why I am turning to you guys.

Do you have any plans to pick up Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop? Have you already grabbed it, or are you trying to decide just as I am? I want to know which way I should go, and I’m leaving the game’s fate up to you all! Leave a comment…let me know which direction you’re heading in.
