SURPRISE - NEW FEATURE! Bet you had no idea this was going on! I don’t think there’s anyone on our regular podcast that knew about this either…it was kept a secret from all! Before I get into the nitty-gritty of GoNintendo Radio, let me say this (in all caps, to get your attention!)…

THE GONINTENDO PODCAST REMAINS UNCHANGED. THAT SHOW WILL CONTINUE ON FROM HERE UNTIL…ETERNITY? THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGES TO THAT SHOW, STAFF, OR STRUCTURE. EVERY SATURDAY YOU’LL GET YOUR SHOW, JUST AS ALWAYS. GONINTENDO RADIO IS COMPLETELY SEPARATE.

Okay, now that that’s out of the way, let’s get down to GoNintendo Radio! Quite honestly, I lend the GoNintendo name to this project, and that’s about it. The show itself is the brainchild of ‘Touch Fuzzy‘, someone you’ll learn about below. He also happens to be the host! Touch Fuzzy can actually describe what’s going on in a much better fashion…

Hey GoNintendo Readers, my name is Touch Fuzzy and I’m here to give you the scoop on the latest feature here on GoNintendo. Back in January I came to RMC with an idea to create a radio program based around video game music. There is a TON of amazing audio work that gets done in games, but it is so terribly underappreciated, something needed to be done. Clearly, RMC thought the same way and gave me the green light to start working on GoNintendo Radio.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for this month, you’ll be able to come on here and join me on an audio journey through video games. From 8-bit classics straight through to orchestrated epics, no stone will be left unturned! The show isn’t just about music though… I’ll have tons of features, like the artist spotlight (Wednesdays) and a series history in music (Fridays). I’ll also be playing all the latest games to bring you impressions and reviews. You guys will even be able to get involved as well… but you’ll have to listen today’s episode to find out how!

I could write in here forever about all the fantastic work you’re going to be hearing and how excited I am to bring it to you, but I think it’s better if you listen to it for yourself. If you’re a game lover, I know you won’t be disappointed. RMC has given me a tremendous opportunity, and I would like to extend my utmost thanks to him for making GoNintendo Radio possible. Enjoy!

Will this continue on for more than a month? That might depend on your responses to the show! We will be posting these shows as listed above, and we hope to see your comments pour in. Touch Fuzzy wants to know what you think! That means that you have to listen, and the download link to the first show is directly below.
