How Many Remakes is Too Many?
This article in particular focuses on the Ys series, but I think it can be easily applied to almost all of gaming. Sometimes we would love to see a remake of our favorite titles. For instance, I was just thinking about how interesting it would be to see a remake of Zelda II…be that suped-up 2d or all-out 3d. Then there are games like Resident Evil 1…which I never, ever want to be remade again. How come some devs just don’t know when to stop?
