European DSi more resistant to homebrew

When the Japanese DSi came out, homebrewers went to work on the platform. At least they tried to, but were met with some limitations. Nintendo obviously tried a bit harder to keep those flash carts off the system, but they couldn’t stop everything.

Now, with the DSi launching around the rest of the world very soon, it seems that Nintendo has once again went to work on shutting down flash carts. In the European DSi, it seems that even more measures were taken to block out this kind of activity. While the Japanese DSi had no problem running the acekard 2i, the Euro DSi won’t even start the device up. Just another hurdle for the homebrewers/pirates to tackel.
