Our friend Geoff Keighley sent me an email to let me know that the next episode of GameTrailers TV will feature a new Punch-Out!! Wii trailer with some ‘brand-new features/twist’ that we haven’t learned yet. Pretty exciting news…any guesses!?

SANTA MONICA, Calif. - April 6, 2009 - Starting Thursday, April 9th, “GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley” (GTTV) will deliver weekly exclusive gaming content one day earlier with a new timeslot. Now premiering every Thursday night at 12:30 AM, GTTV continues to deliver the biggest world exclusive game reveals and hard-hitting interviews. Sticking with the previous schedule, the show will continue to re-air on Friday nights in its existing timeslot, allowing GTTV to broaden its reach and impact across two nights of programming.

Coming straight to viewers from the 2009 Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco, viewers will get a first-look at BioShock 2’s Big Sister in action when GTTV premieres the first gameplay footage of 2K Games’ and 2K Marin’s BioShock 2. In addition, Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime, joins Keighley for a special announcement on Nintendo’s Punch-Out!! followed by a never-before-seen trailer. The new episode also features Guerilla Games’ managing director Hermen Hulst revealing exclusive new footage of Killzone 2. Finally, legendary game designer Peter Molyneux hints at the new Fable II content for the Xbox 360 and debuts exclusive new artwork from the forthcoming downloadable content.

“GameTrailers TV with Geoff Keighley” is home to the biggest video game world exclusives, all airing in high-definition. Featuring debuts of the most anticipated games of the year on a weekly basis, Keighley asks tough questions of the big names in the industry while providing gamers with never-before-seen footage. Co-hosts Amanda MacKay and Daniel Kayser take viewers inside the world of gaming and visit events such as E3, Comic-Con and Tokyo Game Show. GTTV premiers on Spike TV and Spike HD, GameTrailers TV is available in high definition on GameTrailers.com and Xbox Live Marketplace, and can also be downloaded on PlayStation Network, iTunes, and Amazon Unbox.

The new episode of GTTV airs on Thursday, April 9 at 12:30 AM ET/PT on Spike TV and Spike HD, then on GameTrailers.com
