BEIJING, April 15 /PRNewswire-Asia/ — Howell International Trade Fair Ltd. announced today confirmation that Mr. Satoru Iwata, President of Nintendo Co., Ltd., creators of the legendary Wii, will join the Honorary Advisory Board of the China Game Developer Conference (CGDC). Howell notes that as one of the global leaders in the gaming industry, who’s Chief already confirmed their attendance at the CGDC, the addition of Nintendo’s President to the Advisory Board will be of far-reaching significance. Nintendo has always remained highly focused on the development of game technology and this led to the great success of the Wii, and the high-level attention Nintendo is giving the CGDC suggests the rest of the world is now finding China’s gaming market and talents extremely attractive.

Mr. Iwata, who was considered one of the top 25 most influential people in the gaming industry in 2007, was originally a game developer with a great talent and has always pursued the idea of creativity. Since the complicated trend of game development nowadays, high costs and difficulty-levels have restrained many new players from picking up the baton, so the Wii
development-team, guided by Mr. Iwata, followed a different path away from those other next-generation game publishers, building a new platform that attracted all people of all ages to enjoy the fun games.

The Organizing Committee of the CGDC2009 has sent an invitation letter to Mr. Iwata, to welcome his attendance and speech at the CGDC from July 24-26, 2009.
