The Wii'��s Shovelware Epidemic

The Wii has had a shovelware problem pretty much right after the first few months of release. Poor quality titles that were rushed out the door, with many companies just trying to make a quick buck. It originally had to do with publishers being caught off-guard by the Wii’s success. Today we see the problem continue on simply because publishers can make money off of these games. When titles like Game Party and Carnival Games making ridiculous amounts of cash, why is it surprising to see publishers push out more of the same?
