GoNintendo 'End of Day' thoughts - What did you play this weekend?

How do you not want to end your weekend? I would say that reformatting a computer is a lousy way, but that’s what I was doing. My desktop was acting really funky ever since some Windows updates a couple weeks back, and nothing I could do would shake it. Worst of all, having a gaming rig that booted me when playing any/all games was really getting on my nerves. I asked numerous people about the problem, but nothing I tried worked. I figured that since I had the free time, I would take on the unpleasant task of reformatting.

Best part of all, the reformat didn’t help! I even did hardware diagnostics on almost every component of my PC before reformatting, and everything came up fine. After more hours of trying not to cry, I decided to see if there was a heat issue. Low and behold, it seems like one fan is turning on/off when it pleases, making the case just a tad hot. So now, the door is open and all is fine! Just wish I didn’t have to reformat to come to that conclusion. Well, I didn’t have to reformat to figure that out…but you know what I mean.

Well, I have a few more things to do on the PC before I head to bed. I’d like to be able to record direct-feed footage for tomorrow, and have things ready for our podcast as well! Hopefully all that will go without an issue. Once that wraps up, it’s off to bed for me! So…see you guys in a few, short hours. Hope every minute of your weekend was fantastic.

On our weekly podcast, we take the first 10-15 minutes to discuss what the crew spent the last week playing. Every week you get to hear about our gaming adventures, but I realized that I don’t get to hear nearly enough of what you guys are playing. Since the weekend just passed us by, I thought I’d open up the floor to you guys. What did you spend your weekend freetime diving into?

For me, I played a ton of Klonoa. I was so happy to see that my local GameStop got their copies in on Friday. I sure hope that for anyone else looking for the game, the same situation happened to you to! I took advantage of my early grab, and spent the bulk of my gaming time jumping back into that title. It’s so nice to see the original game remade in what will hopefully be a refresh for the character of Klonoa. I really think this mascot deserves more attention than has been garnered over past years. Could the Wii re-release actually make that happen? I’m doing my part to try and help it along!
