Music teacher sings the praises of Guitar Hero/Rock Band
A lot of kids have been getting into [guitar lessons] because of games, especially ‘Guitar Hero. Kids who might never have become interested in learning to play the guitar are now coming to us… The game is a completely different concept from playing a real guitar, but it does help with dexterity in their fingers. - guitar teacher Bo Moore
I may not be looking to learn how to play an instrument, but I really do have a much greater appreciation for that skillset now. Guitar Hero and Rock Band have really opened my eyes as to how difficult some of those musical skills are to grasp!
