A few interesting tidbits from Nintendo Power, the issue with Red Steel 2, not Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom…

- Red Steel has an early tutorial that is meant to determine whether you are an adult or a child. Relatively weaker swings are associated with children, while more forceful swipes are for adults. Basically, if you barely want to move while playing, swing very lightly during the tutorial.

- Why did Yuji Naka end up signing with SEGA back in the day? He takes a moment with Nintendo Power to explaint…

“I wanted to go Namco. But I didn’t get very good grades in high school. That’s why I didn’t go to university. Back then, Sega and Taito were the only companies that would hire people without a university degree. So I chose Sega.”
