Beware of glass tables!

A very interesting email I received from reader M

I set everything up and was playing around the Wii menus, only to notice some really wonky behaviour with the pointer. The cursor would jitter a lot and sometimes jump large distances on the screen randomly.

After a lot of frustration, we found the culprit to be the glass-topped IKEA coffeetable in front of our TV. The infra-red light from
the Wiimote was reflecting off the glass and causing extra interference with the sensor bar. Moving the table out of the way a
few feet solved the troubles completely. Now it works flawlessly!

Makes sense…never even thought about that as being an issue. Hopefully that will help some other gamers out there with issues.
