More European Wii launch worries

Let’s hope for your sake that you didn’t preorder a Wii from Gameplay, Woolworths, or Argos. All three retailers are reporting issues with getting their full Wii allotments from Nintendo. A transcribed phone message from Woolworths is below.

“Nintendo have only shipped part of the promised stock for Nintendo Wii to all retailers within the UK. Due to this, we have only received part of our allocation. We are led to believe by Nintendo that we will receive all stock in time for pre-Christmas delivery. Please accept our apologies for this delay.”

Any Europeans who do not get their Wii on launch day can feel free to head to my house and play until it comes in. I’ll be here waiting for you! Thanks to Paul for the heads up.
